SENATE BILL NO. 193 "An Act relating to liability of an electric                                                                
utility for contact between vegetation and the utility's facilities; and                                                        
relating to vegetation management plans" was read the second time.                                                              
                                                                                                                                
Senator Micciche, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                              
adoption of the Resources Committee Substitute offered on page 2075.                                                            
Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no                                                            
further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 193(RES) was                                                                          
adopted.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
President Giessel stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 193(RES) will                                                                   
advance to third reading on the March 21 calendar.
